Police recover stolen Range Rover in Romsley

Bromsgrove Editorial 8th Feb, 2023   0

POLICE recovered a stolen Range Rover after carrying out a random check of a 4×4 in Romsley overnight.

After finding out the VIN did not match the registration plate, the officers found it had been taken from the West Midlands Police area and seized it.

The vehicle has now been sent for forensic examinations.

The patrol was part of Operation Enzyme – the ongoing campaign launched in December to combat a rise in car key burglaries – at the time.

Since its introduction, there has been a 57 per cent reduction of offences in and around Bromsgrove and a 48 per cent reduction in Redditch.
