Police recover £1,000 worth of stolen property after stopping car in Rubery

EAGLE-EYED police officers recovered more than £1,000 worth of stolen property after spotting car linked to thefts in Rubery.

The officers from West Mercia’s Local Police Priority Team – South were out on  patrol at the time.

The recovery of property which was all on board the car and the arrest came after a short pursuit on Thursday.

The stolen items had been taken from across several police force areas.




The suspect was taken to custody while further investigations were carried out.
