Police probing spate of vehicle crime in Hollywood and Wythall

POLICE are probing a spate of vehicle crime in Hollywood and Majors Green last week which saw four incidents reported in 48 hours.

This run of crime included three separate incidents of theft from vehicles parked on Houndsfield Lane, Hollywood last Wednesday and Thursday.

A car parked outside one of the houses was broken into at 3.50pm on November 21, with the thieves stealing several tools from the vehicle, although no damage was made during the break in.

Police were also informed of a car being stripped of its front and rear number plates between 2pm and 11.30 on November 22,




A similar offence was reported between 8pm on November 22 and midday on November 23, with the front number plate also stolen from that vehicle.

Police have revealed that the partial VRM’s on these plates were 6OGE an 6XEE.


A vehicle on Fords Road in Majors Green was subject to criminal damage between 8.30am and 5.20pm on November 22, with the offender scratching the entire one side of the vehicle.
