Bromsgrove Editorial 15th Apr, 2023   0

Officers of Hagley and Rubery police have been offering advice to local residents on vehicle and home security after reports of  thefts and break-ins last week.

PCSO, Susan White visited Cofton Hackett to speak to residents after a white Toyota was stolen on Groveley Lane on April 3.

Susan also delivered Smart Water to a victim of a shed Break on Ashmead Drive, Cofton Hackett which occurred on April 8.

Smart Water is a traceable forensic liquid which assigns assets and valuables with their own unique forensic code allowing stolen items marked with the liquid to be traced back to the owner and to link criminals to the crime.

We also reported the theft of a blue Ford Fiesta on Maple Road, Rubery between April 4 and 5. This vehicle was also stolen without a key. It is not know whether these incidents are linked.

Witnesses or anyone with information regarding vehicle theft should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
