Police issue warning over scammers selling dodgy TVs at Frankley Services

PEOPLE are being warned not to buy televisions from the back of a van after reports of scammers offering cut price TVs at Frankley Services.

The fraudsters have been operating today in the services area off the southbound carriageway of the M5.

People are urged to get TVs or any electrical goods from reputable retailers as they will then be able to take them back and exchange them or get a refund if the product proves to be is faulty.

Anyone who sees this happening is urged to note down the make, model and registration number of the vehicle and call police on 101.
