POLICE are investigating two attempted burglaries on Old Birmingham Road Lickey.
Both incidents happened around 2.30am on Christmas Eve.
The raiders tried to force entry to the one address by attempting to smash a living room window and trying the back door.
At the second address, the burglars removed the handle on the back door by melting the plastic around it.
They were wearing balaclavas and ran towards Lickey Square where police believe they possibly had a vehicle parked and ready to go.
Police have urged witnesses or anyone with information to call officers on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
