Police investigating theft of registration plates in Bromsgrove District

Bromsgrove Editorial 18th Feb, 2019

POLICE are investigating the theft of two registration plates in Bromsgrove district, writes Henri Bujard.

In the first incident on Monday a plate with the partial registration number ‘BV UEG’ was taken from a Volkswagen Passat while it was parked in Houndsfield Lane, Wythall.

In the second incident on Tuesday a car on Redditch Road, Alvechurch, with the partial registration ‘NH UUN’ had its plate taken.

When licence plates are stolen, there are concerns they could be used as ‘fake plates’ in other criminal activity.

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
