BURGLARS broke into a property in Mill Pool Close in Hagley.
The raiders smashed the kitchen window to gain access.
The owner found out about the incident after discovering the front door had been left open.
It is unknown what has been stolen at this point.
An attempt burglary on Bromsgrove Road yesterday has also been reported to police.
Reaidents heard loud bangs at 3.30am and it was discovered someone had tried to smash the patio door using bricks.
Entry was not gained.
