Police clamp down on parking issues in Barnt Green in response to residents' concerns

RUBERY Police have reacted to complaints from residents in Barnt Green in relation to a traffic problem which was blighting the village.

There were a number of complaints about the flow of cars and vans in Hewell Lane because of construction vehicles parking there.

The obstructions along the road were also making it dangerous for drivers because of the reduction in visibility for people pulling on and off the car park to the social club.

Officers have used cones to keep the pathway clear and improve safety for motorists wanting to use the road.

Any drivers not complying with the parking restrictions will face fines.
