A NUMBER of cars have been stolen from across Bromsgrove district in the past few days.

The first was a white Ford Fiesta ST Line with the partial registration number ‘V111’ which was taken from Newfield Road, Hagley, overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Then, between 3am and 6.20am on Wednesday, thieves struck in Meadow Lane, Alvechurch, and stole a red Alfa Romeo with the partial registration number ‘YJ70’.

On that occasion two men in their 20s, wearing hoodies, were seen near the vehicle before it was taken.

And there was an attempted car key burglary in Hagley.

At 1.53am on Sunday, two men arrived in Kiddermister Road South, Hagley, in a Land Rover.

One stayed with the vehicle while the other broke into the house via the back doors before taking the keys to a vehicle which was parked on the drive but it failed to start.

And, also on Sunday, some time before 2.30pm, criminal damage was inflicted on a car on Whetty Bridge Road / Holywell Lane, Rubery.

The window of the Range Rover Sport, with the partial registration ‘DU64’ was smashed.

Anyone with any information on the thefts or attempted theft or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the areas concerned at the time should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
