THIS picture has been released of a man police want to speak to about an assault in Rednal.

It happened on Lickey Road just before midnight on November 20 and left another man – who was repeatedly hit – with a fractured jaw.

The injuries were that severe, the victim, in his 20s, had to have metal plates inserted into his jaw.

The suspect is believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s, around 6ft 2ins tall and of muscular build.

Despite ongoing enquiries, police have been unable to identify the man or fund him.

Anyone who knows who the man in the picture is or has information about the attack should call West Midlands Police on 101 or submit it via live chat at west-midlands.police.uk
