A WOMAN has died in hospital following a crash on the A38 in Rubery.
The collision happened around 7.05am on Tuesday and involved a black Mini One car which crashed into a tree.
The driver – a 49-year-old woman – had left the M5 to get onto the A38.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died yesterday.
Following the collision, police have appealed for witnesses.
PC Ben Allchurch said: “Our thoughts are with the woman’s family and friends at this sad time.
“I would like to appeal for any witnesses to the collision to come forward or anyone who was passing through the area around the time of the collision who may have dash-cam footage.”
