Police appeal after woman is left fighting for her life after being hit by car in Hollywood

POLICE are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward with information after a pedestrian was hit by a car on the Alcester Road in Hollywood.

The incident happened at around 10pm on Friday, October 26 when a 63 year-old woman, from the Maypole area suffered potentially life threatening injuries.

She is still being treated in hospital.

PC Gethin Venn said: “The vehicle travelling on the Alcester Road in the direction of the Maypole roundabout in Maypole was a black BMW, number plate ending ZYT.




“It is believed that someone left the car just after the collision and before the Police arrived.

“We are keen to speak to them as they may hold crucial information about what happened.


“If anyone was at the scene, has dash cam footage or information about the incident we would like to hear from you.”
