AS THIS year’s Bromsgrove Festival approaches its final week, there are still plenty of fantastic events to catch across the district.
The Phoenix Singers will be performing songs from the 1970s to the 1990s at 4pm on Sunday, July 17, at Bromsgrove School’s Routh Hall.
Phoenix Goes Pop features the Lion King, Shrek, Bohemian Rhapsody and other favourites.
Tickets are £12 for adults, it is free to under 12s and over 12s and students can get in for £5.

At the Bands in the Park in the Sanders Park Jubilee Bandstand from 2.30pm this Sunday, July 17, Royal Spa Brass will be performing.
A showcase by the Bromsgrove Ukulele Club will take place at Stoke Prior Sports and Social Club at 7.30pm on Monday, July 18.
People can experience the range and versatility of this traditional folk instrument.
The Enigma of Elgar – a lunchtime classics concert – will be performed at Avoncroft Museum’s New Guesten Hall at midday on Wednesday, July 20.
Michael Lunts will present the premiere of his new show about Edward Elgar’s life, with an emphasis on his friendships with ladies – a more serious show than his usual productions but a fascinating insight into the composer.
Tickets are £12.50 for just the concert or £25 to include lunch afterwards at 1pm with a glass of wine.
