Plenty to do at Hanbury hall this half-term

Bromsgrove Editorial 8th Feb, 2023   0

FAMILIES looking for something to do during the February half-term can head to their local National Trust venue.

A variety of seasonally inspired crafts, activities and games, events and activities will be on offer.

Depending on the property or venue there will be miles of landscapes to explore, historic homes, gardens and landscapes on the cold crisp winter days.

Hanbury Hall, the 18th century William and Mary-style country house, boasts gardens, orchards and 400 acres of parkland.

Children will be tasked to seek out the Curious Critters hidden around the house and gardens and learn more about them and the damage they cause.

The creatures can be examined under a magnifying glass and youngsters can also colour in their own critter to take home.

Families can also explore Hanbury Hall’s historic parkland on a wintry walk and choose from three way-marked routes whilst admiring the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.

At the Clent Hills, families can get out into nature and enjoy the views and fresh air.

The hills are a place where imaginations can run wild, and families can pick up a ‘50 things to do before you’re 11¾’ leaflet at the Nimmings Wood car park and see how many they can tick off.

The cafe will also be open, serving hot drinks.
