THE LAUGH Out Loud 178 Comedy Club will be staging its first show in Bromsgrove’s newly-reopened Artrix.

And the renowned club is thrilled to bring its uproarious show to its home town.

With a stellar reputation for delivering top-quality live stand-up comedy, the 178 Comedy Club guarantees an evening filled with side-splitting humour and unforgettable laughs!

Established in 2021 The 178 Comedy Club has become a cornerstone of the Midlands comedy circuit, consistently providing audiences with a unique blend of seasoned and emerging comedic talent.

The club’s commitment to delivering laughter has made it a household name and it is thrilled to be able to share its latest show with you in Bromsgrove.

The five acts

Jo Enright is an award-winning stand-up comedian and actress who has appeared in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, The Job Lot, Life’s Too Short and After Life

BBC New Comedy Award and So you Think You’re Funny Comedy Award winner, Steve Harris has become a regular headliner at some of the most respected comedy clubs in the UK, and has done support slots for Johnny Vegas, Peter Kay and Lee Evans on their UK tours.

Jack Campbell began performing stand-up whilst at De Montfort University, Leicester in 2010 and has been performing regularly since. He performed his one-man show at the Edinburgh Festival in 2015 and 2016 and has performed across Europe in Germany, Estonia, Finland and Latvia as well as further afield in Australia.

Griff has become known for being one of the hardest working black comedians on the circuit and is Darron, affectionately known as Griff, has helped establish The 178 Comedy Club alongside Dan, providing some of the most highly-rated comedians on the circuit and collaborating with some of the biggest names in the UK entertainment industry.

Our host for the evening in Bromsgrove is Lovdev Barpaga is a stand-up comedian and the 2017 pun champion (UK Pun Championships). You may recognise his jovial voice, as Lovdev also found fame over the last few years presenting the popular Midlands’ breakfast show on Free Radio.

The Park Gate Inn and Easter Festival

The 178 Comedy Club also hosts nights at the Park Gate Inn on the last Thursday of every month and the last Wednesday of every month at Joe Joe Jim’s in Rednal, near the Lickeys.

And there is a Family Easter Festival tomorrow (Saturday – see below).
