Plenty of fun on offer at Bromsgrove Tennis Club fund-raiser this Sunday

EVERYONE is welcome to a Bromsgrove Tennis Club fund-raiser on Sunday, May 14.

The event will run from 10am to 3pm with plenty of tennis-themed fun and activities.

For £7 per person, visitors can get ‘coached by the professionals’ – sessions take place from 10am to 10.45am (for four to ten-year-olds), 10.45am to 11.30am (for teenagers – 11 to 17), 11.30am to 12.30pm for adults who want to play socially and between 12.30pm and 1.30pm for Team Adults.

Other activities will include a fastest serve competition from 1.30pm to 2pm.

And there will be an exhibition match between two former Wimbledon players between 2pm and 3pm.

There will also be a barbecue and a raffle.

Bromsgrove Tennis Club in Aston Fields, in Bromsgrove has eight LED floodlit tennis courts – these include three green astroturf, two are red astroturf and three tarmac.

There are also have four mini red courts and a practice wall area. Court one has recently been replaced and courts two and three have also recently been refurbished.
