THERE will be plenty of fun for all the family at Charford First School’s summer fair which takes place from 5pm to 7pm tomorrow evening (Friday, June 30).
The cash raised will go towards a science sensory rainbow garden being created at the school.
The garden, which will cost £60,000 in total, is being constructed in memory of headteacher Anita McLaren’s mum Linda Harris who was tragically killed outside her house in 2021.
The first £13,000 phase of the garden is complete so the children can start using it and more features will be added as the fund-raising progresses.
There will be a variety of activities at the fair which is being organised by Charford First School’s PTA.
They include stalls by local crafters and businesses, a barbecue, tombolas, fairground rides, ice cream, face-painting and traditional games, such as beat the goalie and adopt a teddy.
Everyone is welcome to the fair and all the proceeds will go towards the science sensory rainbow garden.
