Plenty of flipping fun as Jack's in Rubery donates pancake ingredients to Cotton Tails Nursery

THERE was plenty of flipping fun to be had at Cotton Tails Nursery after Jack’s supermarket in Rubery donated a hamper of pancake ingredients and toppings for Shrove Tuesday.

Ryan Bird, store manager at Jack’s Rubery, said: “Here at Jack’s the local community is so important to us, especially the smallest members.”

He added he hoped the children at Cotton Tails enjoyed making some delicious pancakes and learning about Shrove Tuesday.

A spokesperson for Cotton Tails Nursery thanked Jack’s for the generous donation and added: “The children really enjoyed their pancakes and really liked the extra toppings provided.”

The children also made some thank you pictures for the supermarket staff to put up at the store.
