THE CATSHILL village lights switch-on will take place this Saturday, November 25, with seasonal fun for all the family from 3pm to 6pm.
At Catshill Village Hall there will be a festive craft fayre with lots of stalls inside and out.
There will be a variety of food and drink on offer, including Betty’s Waffle Co, Pizza Heaven and ice cream.
Little Bengal has got a special offer on for the first 100 people.
On the main stage will be a variety of performances from the Baptist Band, Vinnie Peculiar, Stars Dance Academy, Chloe May’s Dance, Fairfield First School Choir, Chadsgrove School and College and the Methodist Choir.
Father Christmas and other special guests will be making an appearance and the big countdown to the switch-on – performed by the winners of the competition for Catshill Schools – will take place at 5.15pm.
People should be aware Golden Cross Lane will be closed to vehicles from 2.30pm and the car park at Knights Pharmacy shuts at 12pm.
The event has been organised by Catshill and North Marlbrook Parish Council and Bromsgrove District Councillor Shirley Webb.
