Place a star on Tree of Light to remember a loved one at Northfield's Morton's Funeral Directors

PEOPLE in south Birmingham and Rubery wanting to remember lost loved ones this Christmas can have a star placed on the Tree of Light at Morton’s Funeral Directors in Northfield.

The annual event is being held virtually at mortonstreeoflight.co.uk – there people can submit a message for someone special who is no longer with them.

The words will be hand-written on a star by staff and placed on the tree outside Morton’s.

At any time between now and Christmas Eve, people can submit memorial messages or can email them to [email protected]

The annual Tree of Light service – featuring readings from local clergy, music from the Salvation Army Band, readings by the civil celebrant, and contributions from the Mortons’ team – will be available to view on the website from Sunday onwards.
