AN EXHIBITION of pictures taken by Out and About Photography Group has gone on display at the Destination Zone on Bromsgrove High Street.
The group was set up around three years ago by keen town photographer Dave Lewis.
He wanted to share his passion for photography with like-minded people and the group is open to anyone, no matter what experience or photography equipment they have.
The group of amateur photograhers are very welcoming and meet locally – monthly, at weekends and usually at spots, including parks, gardens and other outdoor areas where there is little or no cost involved.
The group aims to be available to everyone, with an emphasis on members learning new skills from each other whilst also making new friends.
Dave said: “We are keen to promote local areas of interest and to explore unknown surrounding areas through the group.”
The group, which has grown over the past few months, also recently held its first talk: ‘An Introduction to Photography’.
Further talks are planned in the future.
