Pets at Home's fundraiser event to boost two animal charities

Bromsgrove Editorial 19th Aug, 2024   0

PETS at Home (PAH) in Bromsgrove will host a charity event from August 31 to September 1, with all proceeds going to the Pets Foundation and Blue Cross, writes Will Shepstone.

All booking proceeds at the The Pet Photo Weekend will be donated to the charities, courtesy of Adrian’s Photography.

Food parcel donations will also be in the store where customers can purchase parcels to donate directly to the Blue Cross animal adoption centre in Catshill.

The store has worked closely with the charity for some time, donating huge amounts of food, treats and pet toys.

Its Pets Club Members are also able to contribute to a chosen animal charity of their choice through scanning their card at the till, with PAH donating to these charities on their behalf.

The business has raised more than £6.8million nationally, provided 1,210 pallets of pet essentials and re-homed over 35,000 small pets through its adoption centres.

Their charitable efforts are not over yet and any donations big or small will be accepted in store as they continue to support local charities.

Two staff members at Pets at Home – Laura Sessions and Carolyn Withers – held a stall at the Bromsgrove Blue Cross Car Boot Sale and raised more than £100 for the cause.
