SINGERS, musicians, groups, dancers, comedians and impressionists are being sought for this year’s Search for a Star which gets under way at the Austin Sports and Social Club in Longbridge this weekend.
Acts will be take to the stage with a 15 to 20-minute set with the top performers going through to the semi-finals and possibly the final where there is a top prize of £2,000. There are also cash prizes for the runners up and finalists.
The eight heats will run every Saturday from January 11 to February 29 with the semi-finals being held on March 7, 14 and 21 and the final on April 11.
