PEOPLE across the district are being urged to get out their pens and pencils and get creative at the Bromsgrove Draws Together which takes place on Saturday, March 16.

The event – previously Bromsgrove’s Big Draw but now run independently – runs from 10am to 2pm at the town’s Methodist Centre, Stratford Road.

Once again there will be the same relaxed, friendly setting as residents and families are welcomed to the venue and lots of materials are provided.

Bromsgrove Draws Together is suitable for all ages and abilities – it is about getting people to join in drawing, doodling or colouring to their heart’s content.

The venue is fully accessible and the cafe will be open from 10am to 12.30pm.

Local artist Laura Brodrick, organiser of Bromsgrove Draws Together, said: “I’m delighted to be able to run another drawing event for local people. “We’ve always found them really fun and friendly and we welcome anyone who wants to get creative.

“Whether you’re confident or a total beginner we offer lots of encouragement and inspiration – just turn up.”
