Party time at The Lodge at Burcot Grange to toast its first birthday

Bromsgrove Editorial 6th Dec, 2018   0

CELEBRATIONS took place at the Lodge at Burcot Grange on Wednesday, December 5, to mark The Lodge’s first birthday.

Residents and their families were invited, along with previous and prospective residents and we at the Standard were among those invited along to partake in the merriment after covering the launch of the development last year.

We were treated to a wonderful buffet spread hand prepared by the housekeeping team at Burcot along with a selection of freshly made cakes, pastries and fruit kebabs to name but a few.

The large cake was cut by resident Bob.

It was lovely to hear the residents singing along with musician Alan Cooper and we were informed that whenever he visits the residents they join together to become the ‘Burcot Serenaders.’

The day also provided a good opportunity for residents from the Grange to integrate and mingle with those of the Lodge.

The music was fantastically upbeat and had a festive feel.

General manager Beverley Williams said: “I’m so pleased to be able to have been part of such a lovely day, it really has been a fantastic turn-out to support us and thoroughly enjoyed by all.”
