IT WAS party time at Bromsgrove’s Chandler Court care home on Recreation Road as it celebrated its fourth birthday.
Residents tapped their feet and sang along to music while enjoying a glass of Prosecco to toast the occasion.
The home was decorated and chef Dean Hill rustled up a buffet spread and birthday cake for everyone to enjoy.
Resident Joan Whitton said: “I have been at Chandler Court for a few months now and couldn’t imagine living anywhere better.
“I have made some great friends and had so much fun taking part in the wonderful activities.”
Chandler Court home manager Vongai Mushinga added: “It was wonderful to see the residents singing and dancing in our cafe area to toast our special milestone.
“The whole team worked hard to organise the event, and I am delighted to say that their efforts were rewarded – our birthday party will definitely be one to remember for years to come.”
She thanked everyone who made Chandler Court ‘an amazing place to call home’.
“It’s been a busy four years. We’ve welcomed some real characters to the home, built relationships with brilliant local organisations, and worked hard to create a homely environment for everyone who spends time with us here at Chandler Court,” she added.
“We’re excited to see what’s in store for the next four years and beyond.”
