Pair arrested after attempted burglary in Alvechurch

TWO MEN  have been arrested after an attempted burglary in Alvechurch.

Police were called to Radford Road in the early hours this morning (Monday) following reports of a burglary in progress.

Patrol officers arrived at the address within minutes and the arrests were swiftly made.

Two men aged 24 and 21  were arrested for attempted burglary.




Insp Lee Page, of West Mercia Police’s Safer Neighbouhood Team for Redditch and Bromsgrove, said: “We know there have been ongoing concerns in around burglaries and car theft in Alvechurch, and around Redditch and Bromsgrove in general.

“We hope that these arrests offer some reassurance to local residents and send a message to anyone considering undertaking such crime that we are targeting suspected burglars.”
