Overloaded power points led to fire in Catshill

Bromsgrove Editorial 10th Oct, 2022   0

FIREFIGHTERS gave advice on electrics out to a Catshill resident after a blaze in a meter box.

The fire was out when the crews from Bromsgrove and Redditch arrived around 9.55am this morning.

It had been caused by the socket – for an electric car and hot tub – being overloaded.

Firefighters, called in response to the blaze and smoke from a vent, checked the property and then told the resident to get the points checked by an electrician.
