THE night sky over Bromsgrove will be illuminated with various bright colours as Bonfire Night approaches.
Across the weekend, several bonfires and fireworks will be lit in the district to commemorate Guy Fawkes.
Friday, November 4
Finstall Park – Bromsgrove Rugby Club – Gates open 5.30pm, bonfire lighting – 7.15pm, fireworks – 7.45pm. Also features local street food and music. No parking on-site or on Finstall Road. Tickets – £5 per adult and £3 for children under 16 years. Click here to purchase tickets.
Saturday, November 5
Droitwich Rugby Club – Gates open at 6pm with firework display at 7.45pm. Live music, a bar and food will be available throughout the night. No parking at the event but there is a shuttle bus will take people from Victoria Square in the town centre between 5.30pm and 10pm. Tickets must be bought before the event and range between £5.23 and £8.90.
Catshill Village Bonfire is hosted by the 6th Bromsgrove Scouts and takes place at Catshill Village Meadow. Many local fooderies will be there on the night including Bromsgrove Hog Roast, Jackies Kitchen and Bettys Waffles. Entry is £3 per adult, £2 for children and gates open at 6pm.
Wythall Park – Wythall Community Association – will be at Wythall Park between 6.00pm and 9.30pm for their Bonfire and Fireworks Night. The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and the firework display will start between 7.30pm and 8.30pm. Tickets on sale at the Wythall Community Hub.
St Andrews Hotel in Droitwich will mark Guy Fawkes night with a bonfire and firework extravaganza with live entertainment, food and drinks. Tickets start at £5 for children aged between five and 16, and adults’ tickets are £10 per person. Click here for more.
