A WOMAN has proved she’s one in a Minion by dressing as one of the yellow Despicable Me characters to undertake a 5k walk in aid of NHS Charities Together.

Emily Davis, who is a teaching assistant at Bromsgrove School, has been undertaking the feat to thank the NHS and mental health charity MIND for helping her mum who has bipolar.

Emily’s mum and her Godson both love the Minions and her aunty is shielding at the moment so she also felt it would be a good way to cheer everyone up.

Emily is also part of the Jigsaw Players and wore the Minion costume during the group’s panto.

She said: “The reaction has been brilliant – I have been to a few places in Bromsgrove, including the town centre and Sanders Park.

“Children have been waving and cars honking their horns.

“I Face-timed my Godson and he thought I was a real Minion.

“People have also been having socially distanced pictures taken with me.”

She has so far raised £125 but wants to generate as much cash as possible.
