Northfield Police used stinger to stop two illegal off-road bike riders in their tracks

Bromsgrove Editorial 28th Mar, 2022   0

TWO off-road motorbikes which were being ridden illegally in Northfield on Saturday were seized after police used a ‘stinger’ to stop them in their tracks.

The anti-social riders were wreaking havoc on fields off Merritts Hill, which used to be the Ley Hill golf course.

Officers from Northfield Police took action in a bid to protect public safety.

They are also investigating as to whether the bikes were stolen.

Warm spring / summer weather can lead to an increase in off-road bikes being ridden is an anti-social manner.

Any vehicles on the road need to be taxed, insured and have an MoT.

Anyone wanting to report anti-social behaviour in their area should call police on 101 or contact police via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk
