A FIVE-PIECE band from Northfield booked their place in the semi-finals of this year’s Search for a Star at the Austin Sports and Social Club on Saturday.
Karkosa impressed the judges by taking to the stage and performing a selection their own material.
The group was joined by Jack Giblen from Worcester who sang This is the Moment, I Won’t Give Up, Mack the Knife, Bring Him Home and Hey Jude.
And the final place was taken by Casey Adams who journeyed all the way from to take part in the competition He sang Budapest, Listen, Despacito and Rise Up.
The next heat will be at the Austin Sports and Social Club tomorrow.
Admission is £4, everyone is welcome and the show starts at 8.15pm.
