A CHARITY which has provided more than 2,000 food parcels for over 6,000 people since March has received a £500 donation to help it continue its good work.
NewStarts was handed the cash by the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire which had heard about its lockdown accomplishments.
More than 130,000 meals have been made possible by the charity’s efforts and now it will be able to offer even more.
Rotary club president John Mackay said, “We are delighted to be supporting this work, having also recently supported several other foodbanks in North Worcestershire and we are looking to offer more.”
The cash will provide much-needed funding to support families in the B31 and B45 areas.
