North Worcestershire Rotary Club provides £300 boost for the Primrose Hospice

THE Rotary Club of North Worcestershire has donated £300 to the Primrose Hospice’s family support team so they can help families online.

The charity has bought two computer tablets to enable the adaptation of the vital care and support service which has seen an increase in referrals for its bereavement help during the pandemic.

Heather Coughlin, head of the family support services said: “We are incredibly grateful to the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire for its generous donation.

“We have had to move some of our services online so we can continue to support adults and children.

“The Primrose Hospice is working hard to continue offering its care and support to our community throughout the pandemic and this kind donation helps us to achieve that.”

Last year, Primrose Hospice supported more than 1,000 people in north east Worcestershire with life-limiting illness, along with their families and bereaved adults and children.
