North Bromsgrove sees significant improvements in GCSE results

Bromsgrove Editorial 24th Aug, 2018   0

NORTH Bromsgrove High School has seen significant improvements in the achievements of its students, including a rise of eight per cent in the number of students achieving a pass (grade 4) or higher in core subjects English and maths.

Exceptional performers included Michelle Solomon who got six grade 9s (equivalent to A*s) and Jack Cooke and Isaac Goss who both got four grade 9s (equivalent to As).

Isaac said: “The teachers at North are really supportive and have nurtured me for three years to allow me to get everything I wanted in my results.”

Interim Head teacher Lee Gray said: “It is very pleasing to see the successes of so many students.

“The clear improvements across a range of subjects including Maths and English are the result of lots of hard work from students, supported by their teachers.

“We wish all of our students the very best for the future and look forward to supporting many of them through their A level courses.”
