North Bromsgrove High give helping hand to students about to start their GCSEs

Tristan Harris 29th Jun, 2020 Updated: 29th Jun, 2020

A HELPING hand has been given to students at North Bromsgrove High School to help them get ready for the start of their GCSE years.

The school – with no cost to the pupils or their families – has purchased all the revision guides they will need for the core subjects English, maths and science.

They will be given to those moving from year nine to ten and it is hoped, in the absence of classroom learning because of the lockdown, it will help them prepare for arguably the most important years of high school.

Guiding students to success

Headteacher Nick Gibson said: “Teaching and learning is at the heart of what we do at North and we will not let the experience of Covid stop our journey to success.

“We want our students to have access to these additional materials, tailored to their exams in their core subjects, so that they can focus on revision right from the start of term.”
