A NEWLY-trained West Mercia Police dog stopped two suspects escaping after a stolen car was found at an address in Bromsgrove.
As officers made enquiries, the pair tried to flee out the back of the property but rookie PD Alvin, who was only licensed to work last month, put in a challenge and stopped them in their tracks.
One of the two arrested was already wanted on recall to prison.
Officers said it was ‘fortunate’ the dog was there at the scene.
