A NEW weekly health walk is launching in Finstall, with the first one setting off at 2pm this Wednesday, March 30, from Green Park Road.
The Oakalls and Harwood Park Health Walk is the first of three new walking sessions launching this spring to complement the existing ones in Lickey End, Rubery, Wythall, and Bromsgrove.
The volunteer-led strolls – in association with the Worcestershire Walking Network partnership – are aimed at improving health whilst providing a sociable day out.
The partnership is a council funded scheme to increase participation in recreational and physical activity.
Coun Shirley Webb said: “Health walks are enjoyed by so many people already and it’s our pleasure to announce another one.
“They’re such a good way to get out, exercise and be social as well.”
