New netball matches for all abilities hope to encourage adult players

THERE ARE new netball matches to help women get back into playing the sport that is set to run every Wednesday at North Bromsgrove High School.

The sessions are designed for people who may not have played the game for a while and wish to keep active in other ways than going to the gym.

Adam Glover, Area Manager for Netball League, said: “What I have found is that mums who have children can then struggle to get back into the sport or struggle to find time to do it.

“Some might not have played for 20 to 30 years, but this is a space for all abilities.”

The sessions start November 9 between 7pm and 9pm and are suitable for anyone over the age of 16 years.

People are being recommended to sign up before attending.
