New course to help people in Bromsgrove improve their strength and balance

Bromsgrove Editorial 9th Sep, 2018 Updated: 10th Sep, 2018   0

A NEW class to help residents improve their strength and balance will start at Bromsgrove Methodist Centre at midday on Wednesday, September 12.

The classes have been organised by Bromsgrove District Council and will be taken by a qualified instructor.

The sessions are aimed at helping participants gain more confidence, improve their balance and posture and increase their strength, mobility and flexibility.

The instructor will guide participants through several exercises and will make each session slightly harder than the previous one to keep things fresh.

Health intervention officer Hayley Gwilliam said everyone was welcome to try the class and she was looking forward to seeing people’s confidence grow each week.

“If this one is not suitable then I am sure we can find something that is, as the council has quite a range of classes for all abilities.”

It starts at midday on September 12 and costs £3 per session.

If you are interested in attending or have any questions, contact Hayley Gwilliam on 01527 881404.
