New Coffee and Cake Concerts programme starts this weekend

A NEW series of Coffee and Cake concerts will soon be under way at Bromsgrove’s St John’s Church.

Singers, harpists, school students and a guitarist are amongst the performers lined up to entertain.

The first one next Saturday, September 15, will feature soprano Rebecca Burn singing a selection of classical songs, along with Alastair Mosely on clarinet and piano and Steve Cowperthwaite accompanying.

The informal concerts last around 50 minutes, and are followed by complimentary coffee or tea and cake.

Admission is free and there is a collection for the historic church afterwards.
