LONGBRIDGE 155, a new £20million, 155,000 sq ft warehouse, has been completed by St Modwen Logistics, with the site set to bring over 300 new jobs.
The facility includes 9500 sq ft worth of office space and has an EPC A+ energy rating and BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certification, putting it in the top one per cent of buildings of its kind for sustainability.
Bromsgrove District Council chairman Coun Rod Laight officially opened the building at a ceremony last month.
The new building is part of a £1billion scheme to regenerate Longbridge.
Polly Troughton, managing director at St. Modwen Logistics, said: “Longbridge is an area close to our hearts and we are really excited to open Longbridge 155.
“From day one, we have wanted this unit to be as sustainable and energy efficient as possible.”
