A TRAVEL company based in Bromsgrove which provides narrowboat holidays has recently scooped a prestigious award for its offering.
Black Prince, headquartered on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal in Stoke Prior, was a prize-winner in the best company for UK short breaks category at the British Travel Awards last week.
The awards celebrate excellence across the travel industry, with 400,000 members of the public casting more than 1.2 million votes in this year’s event.
The Black Prince team collected their prize at a glitzy ceremony in London last Tuesday (November 19).
Black Prince operates narrowboat holidays from bases across the UK, inspiring guests from the UK, US and across the world to explore the UK’s canal network.
The company takes pride in maintaining and upgrading its fleet of narrowboats and in 2024 it launched new boats from its popular Signature Range, created at its boat-building facility at Stoke Prior.
Black Prince also announced the launch a brand-new boat style for 2025, which aims to create extra space and convenience for guests.
Leighton Jones, Black Prince Holidays director said: “We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who voted for us in these awards, especially at it was the first year we have taken part.
“This underlines the incredible hard work from our team throughout the year, as we strive to provide the very best canal holidays for guests from the UK and beyond.”
