Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash in Cofton Hackett this morning

A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a crash this morning in Cofton Hackett.

The collision, involving a car and a motorbike, happened at 7.06am on Rose Hill at the roundabout near Groveley Lane and The Oak Tree pub.

The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man, was treated for injuries not believed to be serious but was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment.

Investigating officers are appealing for information from the public including dash-cam footage where a grey Renault Clio registration beginning RX5 and a blue Suzuki GSX-R motorbike registration beginning BU69 collided.
