A MOTORCYCLIST who failed to stop for an unmarked police car whilst riding at high speed through Barnt Green has been disqualified from driving for eight months.
The incident happened in the summer when the 21-year-old overtook the officers whilst speeding through the village and a pursuit ensued.
The chase was brought to an abrupt end when, after racing along Kendal End Road and Bittel Road, the rider crashed into a bush on a bend, coming off his bike.
Officers gave him first aid before arresting him.
The rider was convicted of driving without due care and attention, driving without insurance and driving without an MOT.
As well as the driving ban, he was ordered to pay court costs and fines totalling £360.
