More than 30 exhibitors available at Bromsgrove MP's Jobs Fair this Friday

MORE than 30 exhibitors have now signed up to Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid’s Jobs Fair which is being held virtually between 10am and midday next Friday, November 27.

Jobseekers will be able to find out about a variety of roles at the event from businesses, including Care Force, Oakland International and Sanctuary Group.

Regional and national organisations such as Barclays, Severn Trent Water and Google will also be there.

Attendees can talk one-on-one with potential employers, making it simpler to find the full-time job, part-time job or career change they have been looking for. Each organisation will set up their own Zoom call with all of the joining details available on on the day of the event.

Experienced coaches will be offering a workshop on CV and cover letter writing and this year, Google will showcase its ‘Digital Garage’ between 10am and 11am. It features online courses, certification, live training, remote working and more.

Ronan Harris, Google’s UK and Ireland Managing Director, said: “Now more than ever having the right digital skills can have a transformative impact on people’s futures.

“Through hosting free Google Digital Garage training courses online, we hope to provide the tools and digital skills to help jobseekers in Bromsgrove and across the UK adapt to the current environment, build confidence in their abilities and thrive in their careers.”

Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid said he had met constituents at local businesses who had found posts at the last fair.

“I know how intimidating it can be to apply for a job.

“That’s why my Online Jobs Fair will give everyone the chance to talk with potential employers, and hear about the opportunities available to them first-hand.”
