More fun on offer as Bromsgrove Festival moves into its second week

THE Bromsgrove Festival moves into its second week with a host of events taking place in the town.

The annual Avoncroft Arts Society exhibition of work produced by the members and associated groups will take place from 10am to 4pm tomorrow (Saturday) and between 10am and 3pm on Sunday, July 3.

There will also be a small craft fair at the event at the Avoncroft Arts Centre. Admission is £1 per person and visit avoncroftarts.org.uk for more.

People are being urged to ‘try something new’ at a free event on Bromsgrove High Street from 10.30am to 3.30pm tomorrow (Saturday).




A guided walk on the history of New Road takes place at 1.45pm on Sunday, July 3, where attendees will be given an insight into the town’s past.

The AD Concert Band will take centre stage at the Sanders Park Jubilee Bandstand at 2.30pm on Sunday. The event is free.


The Bromsgrove Folk Festival runs from Thursday to Saturday, July 7 to 9 at Hadley Bowling Green.

During the event will be an afternoon concert on the Friday and gigs on Friday and Saturday.

The Bluegrass Charity Pickathon will also take place.
