THE LAST ever dog show took place after 85 years due to the All Saints Parish Hall “no longer welcoming” the event.
The Bromsgrove and District Canine Society had run the show every year without fail, apart from during World War Two and Covid restrictions.
The group was told they could no longer hire the premises earlier this year.
Di Morgan, the Society’s President, said: “It is with much regret that after 85 years continuously showing at this venue, only interrupted by the war and Covid, we are no longer welcome, which has put the future of this very old and established local society in jeopardy.”
Revd David Ford, Vicar of All Saints Church, declined to comment when approached to explain the decision.
