THE MET Office has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain across Bromsgrove, Rubery and South Birmingham.
After a brief interlude of sunshine this morning the rain is forecast to be heavy from now until around 9pm tonight.
The rain is then set to ease off but continue until midnight.
The Met Office added homes and businesses could be at risk of flash flooding and journey times could take longer because of the impact on roads, buses and trains.
People are being urged to take care
